Bettes Joins The Singularis Group

Public relations professional will add new talent, services to company portfolio

KANSAS CITY – The Singularis Group announced today that seasoned public relations and marketing professional Chad Bettes has joined the company as a senior associate.

Bettes most recently served as chief of staff at the Kansas Department of Revenue in the administration of Governor Sam Brownback.

He previously held key public relations jobs in both the private and public sector, including two appointed posts at the U.S. Department of State in the administration of President George W. Bush under Secretaries of State Colin Powell and Condoleezza Rice.

He received his master’s degree from the William Allen White School of Journalism at the University of Kansas. He is the 2013 president of the International Relations Council of Kansas City and the Governor’s appointee to the Kansas Advisory Council on Intergovernmental Relations and Kansas Attorney General Derek Schmidt’s Human Trafficking Advisory Board.

Previous board appointments have included the Health Partnership Clinic of Johnson County (Kan.) and the Kansas City chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). In 2012, Bettes was a Romney‐Ryan delegate at the Republican National Convention and served on the convention’s Committee on Credentials. He is a member of the Kansas Republican Party State Committee.

Bettes’ professional work has earned five Superior Honor Awards from the U.S. Department of State; the Secretary of Revenue’s Award for Outstanding Leadership and Public Service; the Angelo Scott Award from the William Allen White School of Journalism; and two PRISM Awards from PRSA.

Singularis Group principal Kris Van Meteren said the hire is another sign of the firm’s commitment to its clients’ success.

“In the battle for America’s future, we set ourselves apart by offering a team of experienced professionals, not rookies,” Van Meteren said. “Chad’s skill set and experiences will be great assets to our clients, as will his 20 years of dedication to the conservative cause at the grassroots level.”

For more than a decade, Kansas City-based Singularis Group has delivered winning advice, products, and marketing services to political candidates, grassroots organizations, businesses, law firms, governmental agencies, and issue education organizations. The firm has served Republican clients throughout the nation at all levels of government from city council to the presidency.
